The Len Rodgers Spirit Award

Who Was Len Rodgers?

Len Rodgers dedicated his life to helping others. He led a life of purpose, setting goals and “getting things done” as he’d say. He created a non-profit that reached communities around the world.

Working to serve others before himself at every opportunity. Always with an awareness of others, he just knew what people needed and reached out without hesitation.

When Len was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma he did not let the disease define him. He approached it like he did everything else. “What’s next and how do we deal with this head on?”

Never being discouraged. He wouldn’t let his illness get the best of him. He was incredibly brave and persistent. He did not take anything for granted and woke up every day and worked countless hours serving people in need. Len put out his last newsletter ten days before passing.
